Quick Post from Colorado

NOTE: This post was written on  WEDNESDAY, JULY 2nd. I thought is was posted successfully that night, but discovered the next morning that it did not get published.

I just finished charging in Grand Junction, Colorado.  It is 7:47pm. odometer at 16,249. Temp outside is 96 degrees! I plan to find a place to get some rest, then make my way to visit my Uncle near Denver tomorrow (Thursday July 3rd). I will give details on my way there, but I want to get on the road to my rest stop. Next charge will be in Glenwood Springs, CO.  Best wishes for a good night to all, Frugal Tesla

    1. Thanks Maryfrances! Great to see you’ve joined the blog. Hello to all of your family from Colorado. FT

  1. Happy Independence Day, friend! I think you’re weary because tomorrow is July 4th, not the 3rd.

    1. Thanks! Actually, this post was from July 2nd, but it was delayed in getting published. That is why I edited and added the extra note at the top. I am being careful to pace myself and rest before getting too tired each day. Best wishes, FT

  2. Hey Frugal! Glad to hear the trip is going as planned so far. Thanks for the use of your property. Sonny boy is all moved in. It took us 2 days to get his old place moved and cleaned, but the landlord was really pleased with how it looked in the end. We just got home about an hour ago (it’s 3:30AM), fed the mondo fish and are head to lala land soon.

On a sad note, we weren’t able to catch up with V and J in SC. They camped at the beach on Tues and went to bed early. We didn’t get to SC until about 10:30 PM, but we were planning on meeting up in the morning. Unfortunately, I got a text from V that J’s grandfather was dying in AZ and they were heading out immediately. I thought you might want to send some prayers for strength their way.

    1. Hi RL, Glad to hear the move went well. Sad news about J’s grandfather. I will pray for the family and encourage other readers who pray to join in. FT

  3. Colorado is very pretty this time of year. Not sure if there is snow at the Continental Divide still, but I’ve seen it in June. Best of luck and safe travels.

    1. Hi Bob, Hello to all of your family! Yes, I saw some snow around Vail. I must add to the blog to explain. Good thing there is the holiday today so I can catch up on the blog! Happy 4th of July to all. FT
